Dramatic Pong! Next, Comedic Breakout?
This is a bit late. I usually write my game-dev thoughts and feelings right after uploading, but this time I forgot.
I wasn't able to participate in last week's jam because I was busy. Now that I think about it, this could've been an entry there, too, since Pong is a classic and I remade it! Oh well.
Anyway, I don't have much to say, actually, except for how simple this was to make. It was simple and fun and not stressful.
The only challenge was writing the story and the enemy paddle AI. What if the enemy paddle loses right away? Then the player won't be able to see the rest of the story.
In the end I just repeated some lines and some elements of the story so that in case the player misses it once, they'll be able to see it in the next point.
I'm pretty proud of this one, even though it's really simple.
I want to make more of these types of games.
